Amanda Bossard net worth
Amanda Bossard, fresh out from Anchorage High School, in 1992 began her studies in marine biology. Bossard's journey to professional success began in 1999 when she was offered a position at the vessel F/V Sunset. This 65 foot vessel, which was a halibut fishing vessel, was transformed to a salmon tender by Murat Ariatn, who is a commercial fisherman for more than twenty years. Bossard married Aritan in 1999, and the pair have come together in fighting for their company. The two are proponents of conserving renewable and sustainable seafood resources. Otolith is a wholesale direct seafood company, was established in the year 2007 by Bella Bossard (age 3), Andre Bossard (1 year old) and the Bossard's mother. Bossard had returned to Philadelphia after the birth of her two children. The name Otolith is a loving memory of Bossard's deep knowledge about fish biology and her husband's many connections in the industry of seafood. It is common for them to be separated for 5 months in a row while they pursue financial and environmental goals that show their determination and autonomy wherever they are. Bossard's daughters Isabella 12 years old and son Andre aged 10 return annually each year to Southeast Alaska to work in the position of deckhand throughout the salmon wild season. After two months of fishing hooks as well as lines, and a 42-foot salmon trolling machine they joined Aritan and were sold local processors of seafood. Amanda Bossard works as an Anchor/MMJ at News 12 Brooklyn and News 12 Bronx. She has worked at this station from November of 2015. She is passionate about highlighting the positive things that happen in the boroughs that she represents, and to tell stories that make an impact.
